My name is Firecracker, because I was rescued on the 4th of July. I had lived on the streets for a long time, but quickly fit in with my foster family. I love the security of my crate and happily eat, sleep and play in it - I have a chew bone collection! I use a doggie door and am prompted to go from crate to outside to potty. I am very friendly and affectionate and will happily sit on your lap for cuddling. I get along well with other dogs, big and small. I will need a good fenced yard, so I don’t return to my roaming ways. I love riding in vehicles! My Foster Mom says I am a special needs dog, because I am heart worm positive. This means I take two heart worm preventative pills a month, instead of just one. Bi-Stone Small Paws Rescue will provide the medicine and the retest when my doc says it’s time. I am a happy, healthy little dog ready for my own family.
